Did you know? Campfire restrictions vary from Campground to Campground and state to federal lands. Naches Fire Department has no jurisdiction in campfire ban enforcement on state and federal lands. CWICC (Central Washington Interagency Communications Center) handles all dispatching for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Forest Service - Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Their contact information can be found here:
https://gacc.nifc.gov/nwcc/districts/CWICC/contact.html

For information on campfire bans on federal lands (Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest or USFS) please click here:

For information on campfire bans on state lands (Washington State Department of Natural Resources), please click here:

Please take the time to learn what lands you are on and what bans are in place for that area. It is also generally not a good idea to approach someone whom you think has an illegal campfire -- please call the professionals and let them handle the situation. Please recreate responsibly this summer!
